CAM: Cambodia Angkor Air K6 700 (Economy)

REP-BKK (1h 10m)
ATR 72-600
ETD: 6.50pm (GMT + 7)
ETA: 8.00pm (GMT + 7)

Did you know that the national flag carrier of Cambodia, which commenced operations on 28 July 2009, was established as a joint venture by the Cambodian government and Vietnam Airlines? Cambodia Angkor Air replaced the former national airline called Royal Air Cambodge, which ceased operations back in 2001.

The overhead screen stated that the departure time would be at 6.35pm instead of the scheduled 6.50pm. However, in reality, the flight was delayed by more than half an hour. All of us only managed to board the plane after the sky turned dark.

It turned out that the Silk Air flight to Singapore was delayed even further.

Nice purple colour, yea?
The interior of the ATR72-600 was nondescript compared to that of the Lao Airlines Flight QV525 that my BFF and I took.

Seating configuration: 2-2

The female flight attendant could've let out a smile while welcoming the passengers...

A wet towel was handed out to each passenger while I was browsing the in-flight magazine.

Following a quick live safety demonstration, we bade goodbye to Siem Reap.

Read here for a quick review of the snacks provided in the box.

Snack box: sandwich, danish and mineral water
Soon enough, the trash was cleared and the seat belt sign was turned on. We landed at Bangkok safely at approximately 8.20am.

Quite a decent, not-so-blurry picture taken!

Ahhh, I want to visit the Land of the Thunder Dragon~
We had to take a bus to the terminal building.

Finally, we quickly ran out of the baggage reclaim area to find the owner of QG Resort who definitely had been waiting for us at the arrival hall.
