TWN: Hotel Relax II

15 Hankou Street Section 1, Taipei, Taiwan

Hotel Relax II (3*) is one of the four hotels owned by a group of contemporary artists, interior designers and marketing experts. All of the hotels are located within walking distance from Taipei Main Station, as well as Ximending if you feel like exercising a little bit instead of taking a public transport.

The sign to the hotel may not be that obvious. My BFF and I actually missed it by one block.

Such a futuristic-looking lobby area!

Due to the high occupancy that day, we were upgraded to a family room equipped with two queen-sized beds.

The deers are watching you...

We found the room to be highly comfortable.

Free snacks! :)

The bedside table is designed to look like a treasure chest.

I love the black and white interior of the toilet.

Don't they look like bottles of olive oil?
After literally relaxing for a short while, we went to Hotel Relax III to use the coffee voucher obtained at check-in.

That's my cup of iced coffee with just a little creamer and sugar.
BTW, I forgot to mention earlier that you have to choose a 1-hour breakfast time slot at check-in, given that guests from Hotel Relax I and Hotel Relax III have to go to Hotel Relax II as well to have their meal if I'm not mistaken.

Steamed pumpkins, sweet potatoes, yellow and purple corns, anyone?

Read here for the review of the food and drinks.
Do note that there's no Hotel Relax IV for an obvious reason, so the latest one is Hotel Relax V.
